Join the eServices for Citizens team: service delivery manager

The eServices for Citizens Branch is responsible for services such as the government’s:

  • web content management system;
  • open data program;
  • citizen engagement technologies;
  • eCommerce; and
  • various digital service solutions.

We’re looking for a service delivery manager who is passionate about leading and supporting the evolution of these core digital services. See the job description including responsibilities and qualifications on the government’s job board.

Service delivery managers at eServices

This role is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the core digital services our branch offers including:

  • Yukon.ca;
  • Open government; and
  • the government’s citizen engagement platform.

Service delivery managers are key in leading project teams through the government’s agile service delivery process to ensure they meet our digital service standards.

As a service delivery manager you can expect to:

  • manage a diverse portfolio of projects including websites and transactional services;
  • be the eServices lead and work with department teams from across the government;
  • collaborate with the eServices team on branch projects;
  • lead projects internal to eServices; and
  • build your job skills and take advantage of government training opportunities in project management, procurement, communications and more.

In a typical day you will:

  • participate in procurement activities;
  • manage contracts and track budgets;
  • lead and participate in project meetings;
  • participate in eServices team meetings;
  • provide advice to clients;
  • spend time working on a pet project.
