Health care
- A respiratory assessment centre is open in Whitehorse to support people with acute respiratory illness who need medical assessment. Yukoners will be referred to the centre from 811, a family physician, Yukon Communicable Disease Control or a hospital emergency department.
- Yukon hospitals have suspended all non-urgent or routine services. Hospitals will continue to provide urgent emergency care. No visitors are allowed at Yukon hospitals, with few exceptions.

Travel and borders
- As of April 20, Transport Canada requires air passengers to wear non-medical masks.
- Anyone entering Yukon will need to check in with an Enforcement or CBSA Officer and provide their destination, contact information, and declaration.
- The Canada-U.S. border is closed to non-essential travel. Avoid all international travel.
- People in Atlin, Lower Post, Fraser, Jade City, Fireside or Pleasant Camp are exempt from the 14-day self-isolation period, provided they have not travelled outside of Yukon or their home community in the past 14 days.

Businesses and financial relief
- The Government of Canada has announced $9 billion in financial aid for post-secondary students. Students will be eligible for $1,250 a month from May through August.

- Applications for Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy are open today at www.canada.ca
- Some Yukon businesses have begun to reopen on their own initiative after changing their practices to comply with current public health advice. Retail operations may remain open as long as they have a plan in place to serve the public safely. Other establishments, such as bars, restaurants except for take out and delivery, recreation facilities and businesses offering personal services, remain closed under public health order.
- The ban on gatherings of more than 10 people refers to social gatherings rather than work environments.
