Changes in services

Veterinary clinics

Veterinary clinics in Yukon are currently open, but are taking measures that allow for social distancing. These include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • reducing hours,
  • limiting the number of clients in the clinic at any given time, and
  • postponing non-emergency appointments.

Phone your clinic prior to visiting. Learn about any restrictions that they've introduced to help minimize spread of illness. These new measures will help keep their staff healthy so they can continue to serve their clients and patients.

Dental services

The Chief Medical Officer of Health ordered the territory’s dental practices to suspend all non-urgent treatment until further notice. This is to protect Yukoners, as well as dental care providers, from the spread of infection.

Patients with questions should contact their dental clinic.

Counselling and crisis support

Counselling and crisis support is available by phone and email.
