The Yukon’s acting Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Catherine Elliott has reported another death of a Yukon citizen from COVID-19. This brings the total to 15 since the first death was reported in October 2020.
There are currently 106 active cases of COVID-19 in the territory. There have been 26 new cases in the last 24 hours.
I am very sad to report another COVID-19 death here in the Yukon. My deepest sympathies go out to the family and friends of this individual. Out of respect for the individual and their family, we will not be releasing any additional information.
