Government of Yukon to attend Association of Yukon Communities annual general meeting

Premier Silver will be joined by Ministers Streicker, Mostyn and Dendys in Dawson City this weekend for the Association of Yukon Communities’ annual general meeting.

The meeting of municipalities provides an opportunity to connect with municipal leaders and advance discussion on key issues, including solid waste, infrastructure and cannabis legalization.

This year’s meeting runs from May 10 to 13.

The Association of Yukon Communities continues to be a valuable partner for addressing vital community issues. We are committed to building and maintaining respectful, collaborative working relationships with municipalities and we look forward to the many important discussions that will occur this weekend.
