Premier Sandy Silver has released mandate letters to each Cabinet Minister to continue building on the strong foundation from the previous mandate and to refine the government’s approach in creating a brighter future for the territory. These letters outline clear priorities for the Government of Yukon and its commitment to serve Yukoners.
Ministers have been assigned portfolios by the Premier and are collectively responsible to fulfil the Government of Yukon’s mandate, including supporting Yukoners as we emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic, tackling climate change, and transforming the territory’s healthcare system through a people-centred approach.
It is an honour to serve Yukoners as Premier for a second term. My team and I remain committed to working together to build a better Yukon for all. It has been my privilege to work with various partners, including many dedicated public servants, across the territory during the challenges COVID-19 brought. We have come together as a community in many ways over the past year and I am excited about the future ahead as we enter our second mandate and continue to deliver on projects and programs for all Yukoners.
