Third Session of Legislative Assembly begins in October

Premier Sandy Silver announced today that the Third Session of the 34th Yukon Legislative Assembly will begin on October 3, 2019, at 1 p.m. The fall sitting of the Third Session will begin with a Speech from the Throne to be delivered by the Commissioner of Yukon, the Honourable Angélique Bernard.

Several Bills will be introduced during the fall sitting, including a 2019–20 Supplementary Budget and proposed legislation to establish Yukon University.

The public is invited to attend the Speech from the Throne at the Yukon Legislative Assembly, located at 2071 Second Avenue in Whitehorse.

I am pleased to announce that we will begin a new Session of the 34th Legislative Assembly this fall. I look forward to working together with my fellow members of the Legislative Assembly for the benefit of all Yukoners. Our government remains focused on improving the lives of Yukoners by building healthy, vibrant and sustainable communities across the territory.
