Yukon Liquor Corporation signs first cannabis supply agreement

In preparation for the legalization of cannabis, the Yukon Liquor Corporation has secured its first supply agreement with licensed cannabis producer Tilray Canada Ltd.

The supply agreement will be fulfilled through Tilray’s affiliate, High Park Company, which was created to produce and distribute a broad-based portfolio of cannabis brands and products. The standing offer agreement commits to an initial purchase of inventory and includes a general commitment to supply more product dependent upon consumer demand.

The Yukon Liquor Corporation is in the process of securing other standing supply agreements with licensed producers. It is also in discussion with potential local producers about supporting a local cannabis industry.

As we prepare for the legalization of cannabis, we are pleased to announce this supply agreement with Tilray and High Park Company as one of our main licensed producers.
