Purpose of the trip: Minister McPhee met with federal, provincial and territorial health ministers to receive an update on the recently announced exemption for B.C. to decriminalize possession of some illegal drugs form personal use. The meeting also included health priorities across the country such as health human resources and digital health and data, as well as an update and discussion on Monkeypox and the ongoing COVID-19 response and vaccination strategies.
