Purpose of the trip: Minister Clarke and his Executive Assistant Elisha Sidoun travelled to Yukon’s North Slope to meet with Wildlife Management Advisory Council North Slope in Aklavik, NWT and tour the Herschel Island - Qikiqtaruk Territorial Park. Minister Clarke also met with Deputy Premier of NWT and Minister of Infrastructure Diane Archie, Mayor of Inuvik Clarence Wood and Gwichin tribal Council Grand Chief Ken Kyikavichik in Inuvik to discuss issues of shared interests.
