Purpose of this trip: This conference provided an opportunity for learning what has worked in other areas of Canada and around the world through sessions such as “International Indigenous Tourism Partnerships” and a panel discussion on product development, “Shaping Experience for Success Across Canada.” 

This conference also provided important networking opportunities to foster new partnerships. Increased partnerships work to support Yukon’s First Nations tourism development, the development of the Yukon Tourism Development Strategy and how Yukon government programs align with Canada’s new tourism vision.
