Yukon Lottery Commission announces new responsible gambling program

The Yukon Lottery Commission has adopted the internationally-recognized GameSense program. GameSense is designed to assist lottery players in making informed choices and developing healthy habits that can reduce the risk of gambling-related harms. The program provides resources geared towards understanding how lottery games work and how to adopt healthy play behaviours such as setting and sticking to monetary limits for lottery play.

We are proud to be launching the GameSense program and promoting responsible lottery play in the Yukon. This program is a crucial step in helping all players to understand how lottery games work and where to find help.

Minister responsible for Yukon Lottery Commission, Ranj Pillai

The Yukon Lottery Commission is pleased to partner with the British Columbia Lottery Corporation to provide these resources to Yukoners. Social responsibility is important to the Commission and we are delighted to build on the best practices and shared learnings offered by this program.
