What is the Territorial Health Investment Fund (THIF)?

The Territorial Health Investment Fund (THIF) is a federal grant provided by Health Canada to help northern territories address the unique challenges of delivering health care in the North.

The funding supports the Government of Yukon’s ongoing work to strengthen and transform its health and social services system to better meet the needs of Yukoners.

The Yukon receives $10 million per year from 2023–24 to 2032–33 under this fund.
