Premier Sandy Silver has announced that Yukon's general election will be held April 12, 2021.
Premier Silver asked the Commissioner of Yukon Angélique Bernard to dissolve the 34th legislative assembly effective today and direct the issuance of the writs of election as specified in the Elections Act.
