Government of Yukon to host the annual United Way breakfast fundraiser

The Government of Yukon will host the annual United Way breakfast fundraiser on September 27 at the Yukon Convention Centre from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m.

This year’s Caring and Connected theme recognizes how our caring network of volunteers, donors, businesses and community supporters improve lives locally through supporting United Way Yukon. This event comes together each year through the tireless efforts of dedicated volunteers, donors, businesses and the greater community who come together to support United Way Yukon. All proceeds from ticket sales, cash donations and the silent auction go to United Way to support Yukon charities and community organizations.

Tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for children and seniors. Admission for children under 2 years old with a parent is free. Tickets are available online at unitedwayyukon.ca, in person at 305 Wood Street or at the door of the Convention Centre the day of the breakfast.

Please bring your own mug, plate and utensils, as this is a zero-waste event!

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day… and the United Way Breakfast is the biggest breakfast of the year! We are looking forward to serving all Yukoners on September 27. The breakfast is a great way to have fun and a great way to fundraise, and all the money raised stays in Yukon for Yukoners. See you Friday!

Minister of Community Services John Streicker
