Maintenance work begins for Whistle Bend stormwater ponds

The Government of Yukon is draining the stormwater retention ponds located in the wooded areas north of Whistle Bend. The work will begin mid-May and continue into June.

The stormwater ponds are located north of Whistle Bend, closer to the Yukon River.

Trail-users can expect to find hoses along the trails leading to the stormwater ponds and should use caution in the area. Residents should follow all safety instructions presented on-site set out by the contractor.
