Whitehorse families can now register their students for school bus service for the 2024–25 school year by visiting yukon.ca/bus. They must register each year for busing.
The registration deadline is June 14, 2024.
Families are reminded that this deadline is set to ensure the Department of Education can develop bus routes that meet the needs of students and families. Receiving registrations in June ensures that there is time to develop the routes and that they are ready and available for families before the start of the new school year. Delayed registrations lead to more route adjustments once the school year begins.
School bus routes for the 2024–25 school year will be posted in August 2024.
Whitehorse high school students can choose to register for the school bus or can register for a city bus pass, but cannot register for both.
Families living outside of Whitehorse should contact their school directly for busing options.
