Premier Ranj Pillai has issued the following statement:
“Tonight, we celebrate the scariest day of the year, Hallowe’en, an evening for kids and adults alike to dress up in costumes and visit their neighbours to collect candy and special treats. This Hallowe’en, I want to encourage Yukoners to make safety a top priority.
“For those on the road, please be extra careful and cautious of all the extra pedestrians out this evening. Keep a watchful eye out for ghosts, superheroes, dinosaurs and other ghouls, goblins and creatures of the night.
Whether you’re trick-or-treating, attending a community event or enjoying a quiet night at home, let’s make it a fun and safe evening for everyone.
“Thank you for your continued support and have a wonderful Hallowe’en.”
