Statement from Premier Dixon on British Columbia’s provincial election

Premier Currie Dixon has issued the following statement:

“On behalf of the Government of Yukon, I wish to congratulate Lorne Doerkson and the Conservative Party of British Columbia on their election victory.

“I also want to thank outgoing Premier David Eby for his service to British Columbians.

“British Columbia is an important partner and neighbour to the Yukon. The ties between our people, communities and economies make a strong relationship between our governments essential.

“I look forward to working with Mr. Doerkson and his government to strengthen the relationship between our governments, advance shared priorities and support economic opportunities for Yukoners and British Columbians.”
