“The Prime Minister has specifically requested that the Yukon once again allow American alcoholic products to be sold.
“The Prime Minister has indicated that this request comes in the broader context of a deal that is in the best interests of the country. On this basis, I have agreed, and steps are being taken to respond to this request.
"In the event of a deal, Yukoners can expect a gradual return of U.S.-made alcohol brands in stores in the coming weeks."
