Statement from Premier Pillai on Mother’s Day

Premier Pillai has issued the following statement:

“This Sunday, we celebrate the mothers and maternal figures whose love, strength and wisdom help shape our families, strengthen our communities and help guide our future.

“Mother’s Day is a time to honour the endless ways mothers care for, support and inspire those around them. We also take time to remember and honour the mothers who are no longer with us. Their legacy lives on through the wisdom they offered, the compassion they showed and the love they gave.

“To every mother and to everyone who has provided care, encouragement, love and support to those around them, thank you. Your impact is lasting and your contributions make the Yukon a better place for us all.

“On behalf of the Government of Yukon, I offer my deepest gratitude and warmest wishes for a joyful and meaningful Mother's Day.”
