“On May 19, each spring, across Canada we celebrate the birthday of Queen Victoria.
“Victoria Day marks the unofficial start to summer throughout the Yukon and Canada. For many of us, the long weekend in May is often an opportunity to get outside and enjoy the spring and summer activities we have missed over the winter months.
“As we enjoy the festivities with family and friends, let us also take a moment to appreciate the beauty of our country and the freedoms we cherish.
“Wishing everyone a safe and joyful Victoria Day!”
