Meeting face-to-face with federal Ministers is essential for ensuring Yukon First Nations voices are heard. From health and wellness to salmon, energy, infrastructure and fiscal relationships, these discussions help advance issues that are critical to the future of our communities. We look forward to continuing this work and strengthening partnerships that support the self-determination of Yukon First Nations.

Council of Yukon First Nations Grand Chief Math’ieya Alatini

Marking my first Yukon Days as Premier, I was proud to join a strong Yukon delegation presenting a unified voice and engaging in meaningful discussions with federal Ministers on key Yukon priorities, like our immediate energy needs. A thorough understanding of the challenges and opportunities we have in our territory helps our governments work together to address them through initiatives and funding that benefit all Yukoners.

Premier Currie Dixon
