Public engagement
We are seeking your input to inform the review of the Safer Communities and Neighbourhoods Act (SCAN). We want to know your thoughts and concerns on property-based illegal activities. This engagement is a part of a large-scale legislative review to examine the Act and its implementation to promote community and neighbourhood safety.
How to participate
Complete the Safer Communities and Neighbourhoods Act online survey by September 13, 2025. Your feedback is anonymous and should take between 10 to 15 minutes to complete.

How my input will make a difference
Your responses will help the Government of Yukon understand how Yukoners may be affected by the current Act and potential changes that may be required. It will also help inform how the Act might be improved to better address the concerns of Yukoners and the evolving trends in organized crime.
