Canadian Mental Health Association Yukon
We offer innovative services and supports to youth and adults who are experiencing mental illness, and to their families. Book a free counselling appointment for youth, adults, families and couples.

Child, Youth and Family Treatment Team
We offer counselling and support services for children, youth and parents or guardians. Our outreach staff provide services in schools and other locations throughout Whitehorse. You can also take part in group counselling.
We offer counselling for children, youth and adults in all Yukon communities. We also do outreach and offer nursing services, as well as connections to additional resources. Our mental wellness and substance-use staff live in hub locations around the Yukon and travel to surrounding locations.
Whitehorse Counselling Services
We provide rapid access counselling within 72 hours of your initial call. We also offer longer-term counselling for individual Yukoners, starting with 12 sessions and group counselling options.
Whitehorse Aboriginal Women’s Circle
We offer advocacy, counselling services, loss and grief peer support workshops, cultural support worker shops, arts and culture circles and land-based activities – all in an environment that celebrates the diversity of Aboriginal women.
Blood Ties Four Directions
Our services include a supervised consumption site, harm reduction, supplies, naloxone kits and training, drug checking, support groups, harm reduction education, housing support and case management.

Community Outreach Van
We offer harm reduction education and support in Whitehorse, nightly from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm. We also offer naloxone kits, drug checking services, snacks and drinks, supportive listening, clothing distribution and nursing services.
Referred Care Clinic
The Referred Care Clinic is for adults with complex mental health challenges and/or substance use disorders. It is for existing clients and by referral only for new patients.
This location also provides the following services:
- Opioid Treatment Services Clinic (no referral required)
- Naloxone kits and individual training
- Harm reduction supplies and education
- Drug testing
National Overdose Response Service
The National Overdose Response Service (NORS) is a free overdose prevention hotline for Canadians providing loving, confidential non-judgmental support whenever and wherever you use drugs. Call NORS before you use drugs to connect with people who want to help you stay safe.
Withdrawal Management Services
We provide medically assisted substance withdrawal support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our staff help with connections to treatment and other services as you need them.
Opioid Treatment Services
We offer wraparound services for the treatment of opioid use disorder. This includes pharmaceutical treatment and harm reduction services and supplies. This treatment is part of the Referred Care Clinic.
Intensive Treatment Program
We offer a 5-week program for Yukoners who struggle with substance use, including experiencing more than 1 disorder at the same time. We have flexible options including 2 live-in programs and a day program.
Psychiatric Outreach Program
Our team offers assessment, treatment, case management, and wraparound support to Yukoners with severe and persistent mental illness such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.
Council of Yukon First Nations
We provide advocacy, navigation and support for Yukon First Nations. We offer free, culturally safe counselling services as well as support for out-of-Yukon treatment.

BYTE | Empowering Youth Society
We conduct workshops throughout northern communities and host events and performances that foster creativity and culture. We help youth develop confidence, skills and a sense of belonging.
We're a fellowship of people who share our experience, strength and hope with each other that we may solve our common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.

We're people in recover who meet regularly to help each other stay clean. This is a program of complete abstinence from all drugs. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop using substances.

Victoria Faulkner Women’s Centre
The Women’s Centre offers hot meals and a non-judgmental space to find community, as well as crisis intervention and supports. We are open to women, gender diverse folks and children.
