Purpose of the trip
Minister Streicker joined the Asia mission with the Premier and a Yukon business delegation for meetings in Tokyo, Japan. Minister Streicker engaged with several travel agencies including Destination Canada, H.I.S. World Global and ST World. As well, Minister Streicker accompanied the Premier for meetings with the Canadian Ambassador to Japan, the Japanese Ambassador in charge of Arctic Affairs, International Affairs and International Economic Affairs, Japan Overseas Infrastructure Investment (JOIN) and mining industry companies, Sumitomo Corporation, Nittetsu Mining and Mitsubishi Materials.
