Purpose of the trip: Ministers discussed the importance of trade, labour, job creation, and how they can collaborate to support economic growth in the agriculture and agri-food sector.  They discussed the successful launch of the Canadian Agricultural Partnership, a $3-billion investment to help the sector grow,  innovate and prosper. The Government of Canada provided Ministers with an update on progress toward the legalization of cannabis.
