Yukon’s Independent Power Production Policy

This policy provides for the purchase of electricity from independent power producers, including Yukon First Nations and communities, who want to generate electricity from eligible sources and sell it to a publicly-owned utility, Yukon Energy Corporation or ATCO Electric Yukon.
