Health care
- The first Yukoners received the COVID-19 vaccine on January 4, 2021: https://yukon.ca/en/news/first-yukoners-receive-covid-19-vaccine
- Yukon’s vaccine rollout schedule was released.
- Yukoners are reminded to stay home and get tested if they have symptoms, however mild. Testing hours are:
- 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Sunday at the COVID-19 Testing and Assessment Centre; or
- 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday at the Drive-thru COVID-19 testing centre.
- There is a new exposure notice.

- It is mandatory to wear a non-medical mask in all indoor public spaces.

- Patrons are required to provide contact information at bars and restaurants to support contact tracing.
- To help Yukoners at risk during this pandemic, people can access mental health and social supports.
Travel and borders
- Canada and the US have continued to extend the border closures to non-essential travel until January 21. If you choose to go past the Canadian border station at Fraser or Beaver Creek, you may be subject to a 14-day federal quarantine.
- Everyone entering Yukon is required to self-isolate for 14 days. Exceptions include critical services workers that have left the territory to perform their work duties and residents of border areas such as Atlin, Lower Post, Fire Side, Jade City, Fraser and Pleasant Camp.

- The Government of Yukon has extended the state of emergency under the Civil Emergency Measures Act (CEMA) for a further 90 days.
