E-scooters and other electric micromobility devices are increasingly common ways for people to get around. As their use grows, the Government of Yukon wants to better understand Yukoners’ experiences, concerns and priorities related to their safe use.
In this engagement, we’re focused on possible Government of Yukon action. It is not a review of the City of Whitehorse’s bylaw.
We want to hear about:
- your experience with e-scooters and other electric micromobility devices;
- your concerns and priorities related to their use;
- whether you think further regulation action is needed; and
- what types of action, if any, the government should consider.
Your feedback will be considered alongside other information as the Government of Yukon decides whether any next steps are needed.
We will publish a summary of what we heard and explain how the feedback was considered.
