Families can now register online for school bus service for the upcoming 2026–27 school year by visiting yukon.ca/bus.
Beginning this school year, bus registration and route planning will be managed by Standard Bus Yukon. Families will continue to register using an online e-form, with registration links available on both yukon.ca/bus and Standard Bus Yukon’s webpage. Students must be registered for busing each school year.
Families are encouraged to register by July 1. Registering early helps ensure bus routes are ready and posted online before the start of the new school year and helps eligible students receive a bus assignment before classes begin. Late registrations, after July 1, may result in route changes or delays in receiving a bus assignment once the school year begins.
Whitehorse high school students can choose to either register for a city bus pass or for the school bus, but cannot register for both. Registration for city bus passes is expected to open in early June.
Rural families should continue to contact their school directly to learn about local busing options.
