211 helpline will continue to connect Yukoners to health and social programs and services

The Government of Yukon and United Way Yukon are continuing their partnership to provide the 211 helpline which connects Yukoners to government and community-based, non-emergency health and social services. Free and confidential, the helpline assists people navigate the network of programs and services quickly and easily, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, in more than 150 languages.

211 is the primary source of information and gateway to non-emergency health and social services for all  Yukoners and their unique circumstances. The service is accessed by dialing 211 or visiting yt.211.ca. Services and programs are available for a wide variety of needs including food, housing, mental health, child and family services, employment and many more.  

The Government of Yukon is proud to continue our partnership with United Way Yukon to ensure Yukoners can connect to the supports and services they need 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If you or a loved one needs support, especially during the holiday season, please  call 211 and you will be connected with someone who can help.

With the support and commitment from the Yukon government, United Way Yukon has been able to continue providing 24/7, free, confidential service to people across the territory. By picking up the phone and calling 211, or visiting yt.211.ca, Yukoners are connected with health and social service programs and supports to meet their individual needs.

  • Yukoners can dial 211 from anywhere in the territory to connect with a specialist who will help find appropriate resources nearby or search the 211 website at yt.211.ca.

  • The 211 phone and online services complement other phone services available in the Yukon:

    • 511 – provides information on road conditions
    • 811 – provides health advice and information
    • 911 – responds to emergencies
