Site description
  • You can only tent inside the electric fence, due to high grizzly bear use of the area. There are 20 tent sites within the fence.
  • The Dań K'e (Southern Tutchone) name for the creek, Khàr Shan Nji, means “big roots broken down.” This name recalls flash floods that occurred long ago.
  • A 500 m trail begins at the campground and goes along the shoreline of Łù’ààn Mân (Kluane Lake). Make noise and bring your bear spray! Download the trail map.
