Site description
  • Popular beach in summer.
  • Tent sites for overnight camping; four can be reserved.
  • Both the lake's Southern Tuchone and Tagish names, Tàkádàdhà and Sāa Tl’áh Ni, refer to the sandy beach, where people had their main camp and potlatch house.
  • A footbridge connects to the campground.
  • M’Clintock Bay (T’á Hîni Wát) is a rest stop for thousands of trumpeter swans and other waterbirds in spring.
  • Visit the nearby Swan Haven Interpretive Centre in April.
  • Day-use area: closed 11 pm to 7 am
  • Generators are not permitted.
