Site description
- An ideal launch for canoeists paddling the 180-km trip to Nisutlin Bay (Nałasìn Ghe’yi Tá) and Teslin Lake (Dèsłìn Âyi).
- Paddlers may see Bald Eagles nesting in tall trees on the riverbanks. Look for moose, bear, and beavers along the shore and listen for wolves at night.
- The Teslin Tlingit traditional portage from Quiet Lake (Kìt Den Â) to the Nałasìn River passes through this area.
- Day-use area: closed 11 pm to 7 am
