Before you go

• Reserve and purchase a special camping permit online ($18 a night per tent pad).
• Before you begin your trip, you and all members of your party must watch our backcountry orientation video, either online before your arrival or at the Interpretive Centre.
• You must pre-arrange to either rent or purchase a bear-proof food canister. Canisters are available to rent or purchase at several locations. Purchase your own at mec.ca, or Coast Mountain Sports in Whitehorse or rent from Klondike Experience in Dawson or Changing Gear in Whitehorse.

Water

Yukon Parks does not provide potable water at this campground. 

• Plan ahead, bring your own water and use discretion when gathering water from natural water sources for drinking or personal use. 
• Research your equipment before visiting.
