Training priorities
We support training and professional development opportunities that:
- develop entrepreneurial skill sets;
- assist in researching, identifying and assessing market needs;
- provide exposure to market trends and requirements;
- increase investability, marketability and export readiness;
- prepare Yukoners to access extra-territorial investment in their products and businesses;
- provide an opportunity for interaction with market experts such as broadcasters, distributors, purchasers, labels, managers and co-producers;
- prepare Yukoners to be hired by non-Yukon companies that work in the territory;
- contribute to the development of crew and media production service companies in Yukon; and
- support the development of the creative interactive media production industry in Yukon.
