Updates to Geological map service

The following changes have now been completed on the GeoYukon Geological map service.

The changes include:

  • the addition of one new Geophysics Gravity Bouguer Anomaly – 2km layer; and
  • two geophysics replacement layers.

The Geophysics First Vertical Derivatives – 200m layer is being replaced by the Geophysics First Vertical Derivatives – 50m layer. The Geophysics Residual Magnetic Total Fields – 200m layer is being replaced by the Geophysics Residual Magnetic Total Fields – 50m layer.

The Geophysics First Vertical Derivatives - 200m and Geophysics Residual Magnetic Total Fields – 200m layers will be decommissioned April 1, 2022. If you have any questions about the content of this data contact ygstech@yukon.ca.
