The Government of Yukon will manage the January intake for Tier 1 and Tier 3 of the Community Development Fund using its new online application portal.
Launched in September with Tier 2 applications, the online fund management portal offers a secure, online platform where applicants can easily submit applications, track progress and manage documents and communications – all in one place.
This shift is part of the Government of Yukon’s broader commitment to improve client service, reduce red tape and strengthen internal processes to support economic growth and development in the Yukon. The portal is designed to improve client experience and modernize programs and services.
Further Economic Development funding programs will be added over time. This phased approach will allow staff to monitor feedback and make any necessary adjustments as programs are added. The department will provide updates to clients as programs and streams become available in the system for online application.

The Community Development Fund Tier 2 was the first program available in the new system, added in September 2025. All Community Development Fund Tiers will now use the online application portal.

The next intake deadline for the Community Development Fund is January 15, 2026, for Tier 1 requests for $20,000 or less and Tier 3 requests over $75,000. All requests will be processed in the online portal.

Support is available through program advisors, as well as an online user guide at Yukon.ca/cdf. There will also be an info session on January 6.

This new system does not include non-funding programs, such as Yukon immigration programming.
