The Government of Yukon has launched a new online process for Yukoners to share any concerns they may have about the French-language services and information provided by the government.
People can submit a complaint when government services are not offered or available in French or when information in French is incomplete or unavailable.
The online process provides the public with clear information about how concerns will be handled, how complainants will be kept informed and how feedback will be used to support continuous improvement. It also provides the government with a consistent and transparent approach to managing complaints across the organization.
This new way for the public to submit complaints is an addition to the existing complaint processes, such as submitting complaints directly to programs and services, or to oversight bodies such as the Yukon Ombudsman.
The launch of this online complaint process is a significant milestone in our efforts to enhance bilingual services across the government. By making it easier for Yukoners to be heard, we can explore ways to turn feedback into meaningful action and continuous improvement. Every concern raised helps us improve services and better serve the Yukon’s Francophone community.
-
Information about complaints submitted through the platform will be reported annually in the Government of Yukon’s Report on French-language services.
-
This initiative delivers on a key commitment in the Government of Yukon’s 2025–28 Strategic Framework for French-language Services.
-
The Government of Yukon soft-launched the platform in June 2026 to test and improve processes before publicly launching it.
