Yukon post-secondary students can now apply for funding for the 2024–25 school year

Today, the online student financial assistance portal opened for applications for the 2024–25 academic year.

Students must apply each year to receive financial assistance for their studies. Funding programs include the:

  • Yukon Grant;
  • Student Training Allowance;
  • Yukon Excellence Award; and
  • Canada Student Financial Assistance programs for full-time and part-time studies.

Within the online portal, eligible students can apply for the funding programs that work best for their needs and circumstances. Students are encouraged to apply early as applications are processed in the order they are received.

Students must submit their program information each semester to receive funding. The Department of Education requests that students have their program information form filled out by their academic institution before submitting their completed application.

Quick facts
