The Yukon’s Court of Appeal Act was passed into law in 1971 and establishes the appeal court in the Yukon.
It has the power to hear appeals of decisions made by: 

  • the Territorial Court; or 
  • the Supreme Court of Yukon. 

We’re looking for your input to inform updates to the Yukon’s Court of Appeal Act and related Rules of Court. This is the first time the Act will be substantively updated. We want to know your perspective on what a more modernized Court of Appeal Act could look like.
