Maintenance work begins for Whistle Bend north stormwater pond

The Government of Yukon is draining the north stormwater retention pond in Whitehorse’s Whistle Bend neighbourhood. The work has begun and will be completed in approximately four weeks.

The public can expect a hose along the trail leading to the stormwater pond and should use caution in the area and follow any signage.

The pond collects stormwater from Whistle Bend. As part of regular stormwater system maintenance, ponds need to be drained so they can function as intended.
