    Groups and individuals can submit an application.

    Community member

    The project only needs to be approved by the school principal.

    Community member representing an agency, community agencies or other territorial educational programs

    The project:

    • can be school wide or in a classroom(s); and
    • has to support curricular outcomes.

    Project approval

    The project has to be approved by:

    • 1st, the Department of Education;
    • then the school principal; and
    • finally, teachers.

    Promotion in school

    The project can be advertised in school newsletters and websites.

    Project funding

    Funding provided by the school.

    Community clubs or activities for students

    Materials can be displayed in schools.

    Promotion in school

    Activities can be advertised on school information board.

    Government of Yukon departments

    The project:

    • can be school wide or in a classroom(s); and
    • has to support curricular outcomes.

    Project approval

    The project has to be approved by:

    • 1st, the Department of Education;
    • then the school principal; and
    • finally, teachers.

    Promotion

    The project can be advertised in school newsletters and websites.

    Funding

    The sponsoring department funds the project.

    Out of territory agencies

    The project:

    • can be school wide; and
    • has to support curricular outcomes.

    Project approval

    The project has to be approved by:

    • 1st, the Department of Education; and
    • then, the principal.

    Promotion

    The project can be advertised in school newsletters and websites.

    Funding

    The Department of Education determines funding.

    You’ll need to gather information to fill out your application form.

    For Kindergarten to Grade 12

    • The title.
    • Grade.
    • Subject.
    • Where does it fit in the curriculum.
    • Description of content.
    • How will your project enhance Yukon schools.
    • Professional reviews.

    1. Read the Agencies in the Schools Policy.
    2. Read the Approval guidelines to prepare your application.
    3. Submit your application.
