Register your child in summer school

In summer 2026, summer school courses will be delivered to students in person at F.H. Collins Secondary School.

Registration deadline

The summer school registration deadline is Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 4 pm.
For further information, speak to your child's school counsellor.

Eligibility

Your child can be registered in 1 of the core academic subjects offered if they have not successfully completed a course with:

  • a final grade of 40 per cent or higher (Grade 10 to 12); or
  • proficiency indicator of 'Emerging' or higher (Grade 8 to 9).

To register for summer school, your child must have:

  • received their final grade for a course; or
  • a completed School Verification Form, signed by their school’s principal, vice-principal, or counsellor.

Audit option

Your child may enrol to audit any summer school courses. An audit allows a student to get an introduction to a topic and to get an idea of what the course includes. As summer school is a short period of time, we recommend that students have taken the course previously, but it’s not required.

If you register them to audit a course, they will not receive a final grade.
