In summer 2026, summer school courses will be delivered to students in person at F.H. Collins Secondary School.
Registration deadline
The summer school registration deadline is Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 4 pm.
For further information, speak to your child's school counsellor.
Eligibility
Your child can be registered in 1 of the core academic subjects offered if they have not successfully completed a course with:
- a final grade of 40 per cent or higher (Grade 10 to 12); or
- proficiency indicator of 'Emerging' or higher (Grade 8 to 9).
To register for summer school, your child must have:
- received their final grade for a course; or
- a completed School Verification Form, signed by their school’s principal, vice-principal, or counsellor.
Audit option
Your child may enrol to audit any summer school courses. An audit allows a student to get an introduction to a topic and to get an idea of what the course includes. As summer school is a short period of time, we recommend that students have taken the course previously, but it’s not required.
If you register them to audit a course, they will not receive a final grade.
