If you're pregnant you and the people supporting you can attend prenatal classes in Whitehorse.
The classes provide information on support for families:
- during the prenatal period;
- during labour; and
- after the new baby arrives.
What are the classes about?
There are 4 classes. The topics of the classes are:
- labour and delivery;
- comfort measures;
- breastfeeding; and
- newborn and postpartum care.
Who can attend?
You and the people supporting you with your pregnancy can go to the classes.
Do I have to take all 4 classes?
No. You can attend all 4 or just take the ones that interest you.
When are the classes held?
Classes are held on Thursdays from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30pm.
Where are the classes held?
The classes are at the Whitehorse Health Centre at 9010 Quartz Road.
