Business Corporations Act extension of statutory timelines

The statutory timelines for business corporations to meet their legal and reporting requirements under the Business Corporations Act has been extended. It's now 30 days after the end of the state of emergency in Yukon due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Child and Family Services Act extension of statutory timelines

The statutory timelines for agreements with youth have been extended. Under the Child and Family Services Act, agreements that expire during the pandemic have been extended. This will allow youth to continue to receive supports and services. It's now 90 days after the end of the state of emergency in Yukon.

Cooperative Associations Act extension of statutory timelines

The statutory timelines for societies to meet their legal and reporting requirements under the Cooperative Associations Act has been extended. It's now 90 days after the end of the state of emergency in Yukon due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Partnership and Business Names Act extension of statutory timelines

The statutory timelines under the Partnership and Business Names Act have been extended. This way limited partnerships can meet their legal and reporting requirements under the Act and businesses and partnerships can renew and protect their business names. The timeline is now 30 days after the end of the state of emergency in Yukon due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The statutory timelines for societies to meet their legal and reporting requirements under the Societies Act has been extended. It's now 90 days after the end of the state of emergency in Yukon due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Oil and Gas Drilling and Production Regulation extension of statutory timelines

We've extended the statutory requirement for Chance Oil and Gas Limited to inspect its suspended wells by August 31, 2020, to a new deadline of September 25, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Oil and Gas Geoscience and Exploration Regulations extension of statutory timelines

We've extended the July 22, 2020, statutory deadline for Chance Oil and Gas Limited to provide a final report for its geological operation to a new deadline of September 25, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A final report is required within 12 months of completing or terminating a geological operation or within 12 months of the estimated date of completion.

Extension of statutory timelines under sections 16 and 17 of Child and Family Services Act

There's an extension of statutory timelines under sections 16 and 17 of Child and Family Services Act. This is to ensure that youth who currently receive supports or services from Family and Children’s Services continue to do so during the pandemic 

Under section 16, support services that would end or which have already ended between March 27, 2020, and the date of this extension order are extended to the end of the state of emergency, plus 90 days.

Under section 17, transitional support services that would end or which have already ended between March 27, 2020, and the date of this extension order are extended to the end of the state of emergency, plus 90 days.
