Can I use multifactor authentication with a MyYukon account?

You can use multifactor authentication (MFA) to add an extra layer of protection to your account. Using MFA is optional.

If MFA is turned on, you’ll need to provide a password and a unique code when signing in to your account.

Set up multifactor authentication

Set up and manage multifactor authentication

To use MFA, you'll need 1 of the following:

  • a telephone number that can receive SMS messages;
  • a telephone number that can receive voice calls; or
  • an authenticator app that provides rotating codes, such as Google Authenticator, Authy or Microsoft Authenticator.

When setting up MFA, you’ll receive a recovery code. Save this code in a safe place. It will let you access your account if you cannot access the device used for MFA.

If you've already set up MFA, you can click the button above to turn it off.
