Referred care clinic
Our referred care clinic is a primary care clinic for vulnerable adults with:
- unstable mental health; or
- substance use disorders.
We serve people who:
do not have a primary care provider, such as a doctor; and
rely on outreach services.
How do you access this service?
Our referred care clinic only accepts referrals from:
- our mental health nurses;
- the Whitehorse General Hospital’s attending physician; and
- psychiatrists in Whitehorse.
All referrals will be assessed for appropriateness by the referred care clinic's lead physician and nurse practitioner.

The opioid overdose prevention coordinator can help you if you're interested in:
- accessing naloxone kits; or
- learning more about harm reduction tools available in Yukon
