What Environmental Health Officers do
Environmental Health Officers inspect:
- food establishments;
- large public drinking water systems;
- personal service establishments;
- recreational facilities, including public pools; and
- child care facilities.
They also follow up on public complaints to assess and reduce risks to public health.
